The Association of Consumer Support Organisations (ACSO), the trade body for businesses which support consumers when they come to make a claim, has four new members, bringing total membership to 84. ACSO members are collectively responsible for over £1.25bn in revenue and the organisation recently celebrated its third birthday, after being founded in March 2019.
The new members are EDAM Group (credit hire and post-accident services provider), Gildeas Limited (Scottish personal injury law firm), HCML Limited (rehabilitation services) and Glenesk Operations Excellence Limited (consultants to the claims sector).
Matthew Maxwell Scott, ACSO executive director said: "It's great to welcome such a cross-section of leading businesses to ACSO. They are all leaders in their fields, and their expertise will be hugely helpful while we continue our work to champion the needs of consumers when they deal with a claim."
He added: "As our new members demonstrate, ACSO is the only trade body that reaches across the whole of the claims industry. When we launched ACSO in 2019, we made clear that consumers would be best served if those businesses which represent them speak with a collective voice."
"So many of our challenges are shared across the sector, and resolving those challenges will almost certainly require acting and speaking with a collective voice."
