As 2022 draws to a close, ACSO wanted to take the opportunity to thank all our members for their support and wise counsel over the past 12 months.
Our membership has grown to 86 members from only 25 at our launch in January 2019, and as we enter our fifth year we look forward to continuing to expand not just our membership base but also our influence and the impact our campaigning has.
This year we have published 6 original reports, distributed 21 ACSO insight papers, made 14 consultation submissions on our members' behalf and spoken at 8 industry events. Our positive media coverage has increased by ten per cent, and social media reach by even more.
Meanwhile the day-to-day outputs of our working groups and the collaborative approach we take to industry and stakeholder engagement means we are doing more to achieve positive outcomes for all our members. This is regardless of whether they are involved in direct provision of legal services, legal expense insurance, alternative dispute resolution, vulnerable road user issues, claims management, credit hire, rehabilitation or many of the myriad other vital things they do day in, day out for UK consumers.
Looking ahead, we will continue to lead the sector response on the costs agenda, step up our political engagement as the next general election comes into view, host more events and do whatever we can to bring people together in the consumer interest.
So thank you all for everything that you do, and we hope that by speaking with one voice we can continue to support you as you work hard to support others.
