Over the next six months, I will be working in the business development seat as part of my training contract at Minster Law, leading UK personal injury firm and a founder member of ACSO. It’s an exciting time to be involved in changes within the business and the wider sector.
During this, I am fortunate to have been seconded to ACSO, and despite only being three weeks in, the experience has already provided me with valuable commercial insights, looking into fixed recoverable costs, the Damages Claims Portal and the recovery of medical expert, agency, and rehabilitation fees. These are not only matters which affect my work but also all ACSO members who support consumers seeking redress and access to justice.
The ACSO team has been extremely welcoming, and I am looking forward to the opportunities from working with them as well as pushing myself to becoming a better lawyer by contributing to the work ACSO does with its members and supporters.
