I am grateful to have been seconded to ACSO as part of my training contract at Minster Law, a leading UK personal injury firm and a founder member of ACSO.
The secondment has complemented my legal training by giving me valuable insights into the wider civil justice system. The team at ACSO work tirelessly to ensure that the interests of consumers are at the forefront of the minds of policymakers, regulators and the industry through positive engagement and lobbying.
During my time at ACSO, I have made a difference by helping ACSO respond to multiple government consultations by the Legal Services Board (LSB), including Technology & Innovation and First-Tier Complaints. I have also been able to support the team on work they have carried out on mixed-injury claims in the Official Injury Claim portal as well as on the Damages Claims Portal.
My questions have always been welcomed and I have been encouraged to get stuck in and involved in the great work ACSO carries out. I highly recommend trainees from ACSO members take part in the programme if they can.
